Islamabad: Sheikh Adam Yousaf, the project coordinator of Ummah Welfare Trust, a United Kingdom based charity organisation is currently visiting Pakistan after completing a successful visit of Somalia, says a press release issued here Saturday.
During his one-week long stay in Pakistan, he visited Ummah Rehabilitation and Vocational Centre in Rawalpindi, a centre established for the welfare of the disabled children. He also visited Ummah Children Academy, an orphanage where one thousand orphan children are getting education in a state-of-the-art building. In the academy he met orphan children and inquired after their well-being and the education they are being provided there.
He also visited the flood-affected areas of the Punjab province where he inspected the newly constructed mosques by the Ummah Welfare Trust. He also visited the work on water wells provided by UWT in the flood-affected areas. He will also visit Muzaffargarh to inspect the newly constructed houses under the banner of Ummah Model Villages in the area.
The UWT project coordinator will visit Ummah Tent Villages in Badin. Later, he will visit Umer Kot another flood-affected area of Sindh.
Sheikh Adam Bin Yousaf was in Somalia for the last two months where he rendered unmatched services for the victims of dreadful drought.
